They can sell any limited skins, any fancy deals, any special in-game items. All the critics, soundings, and awareness has been raised by a good portion of players and they unhear them.

Some of player may find it okay due to a reason it's a free game and the game need to make money to keep the server up and new contents coming. They decide to release one character (which initially voted by players and fans) to be locked behind $45 paywall forever. But, after this 2nd anniversary, they change my opinion. I was in fair tolerance with this game since they allow players to have all the released characters in two weeks by gems after the initial character package sale. It might not a bad experience if you find yourself loving this game and okay with button mashing grinding. Grinding all the way to get what you need, completing your dailies/weeklies, clearing any FOMO campaign or event possible. Just like playing every gacha game, you start with any limited resources possible. Oh yes, then what are you complaining about?!
